June 1, 2005 Stopover in Switzerland Hola -- I mean -- Grüezi from Switzerland! Sorry, but this update is going to be super short. I just wanted to let you all know that I'm alive and well. My itinerary from the last few days looked like this: May 29 > Raced World Cup #3 in Houffalize, Belgium (race report to follow sometime...) > Drove to Michel's house (also in Belgium) in the evening where his Mom had dinner waiting (MERCI!) May 30 > Got up at 4:30 a.m. and Michel drove me to the airport in Brussels (Merci Michel!) > Arrived in Girona at 8:30 a.m. > Arrived in Giverola at 9:30 a.m. (Thank you for picking me up, Juerg!) > Packed all my junk that I'd acquired in the apartment over the last three months > Got on the bus at 7:00 p.m May 31 > Got off the bus in Zurich at 9:00 a.m. I'm now at my aunt and uncle's in Ottenbach and I'm still feeling rather gross from all the travelling and not enough sleep. This afternoon I'm going biking with Natascha! Should be fun, but I hope she doesn't drop me on the climbs.... :-P Tomorrow I visit my granparents in Zollikofen and on Saturday morning I fly from Zurich to Quebec City. Whew! I need to have a nap. Just thinking about what I've done and what I still have to do is exhausting. So anyway, just thought I'd check in quickly. I'm not sure what my Internet access will be like in Quebec.
