I had good memories of Mount Washington from the Canada Cup Finals a month before and winning the provincial race here made me love the Vancouver Island resort even more!
So happy to be on the podium!
Finally on top of the podium! It took me all season, but I finally won myself a race. We just won't talk about how many women were in the Elite category (ahem-three-ahem). It was a fun race, beautiful weather and I finished the four laps eight minutes faster than second place. It was the same course as the one on which I placed seventh at the Canada Cup Finals, so I had it down. It was completely dry and everything was rideable. No crashes, no mud!
